NORTHAMPTON COUNTY, PA
 Northampton County is a county located in the northeast area of Pennsylvania. It was formed in 1752. In 2000, Northampton County reported a population of approximately 267,066. The estimated census data for 2008 indicates a population of approximately 294,787. The county seat is Easton, Pennsylvania. Northampton County is a part of the Lehigh Valley. The eastern part of the county borders on the Delaware River while the western part borders on Lehigh County. Easton, Pennsylvania is a city with an estimated population of 26,080. It is the county seat of Northampton County and is the easternmost city of the Lehigh Valley in eastern Pennsylvania. Easton sits at the confluence of the Lehigh and Delaware Rivers. Easton is made up of the city and three townships, i.e., Forks, Williams and Palmer and three boroughs, i.e., Glendon, Wilson and West Easton. Easton is the smallest city in the Lehigh Valley. Allentown is the largest city in the Lehigh Valley. The Lehigh Valley is a metropolitan region consisting of Lehigh, Northampton and Carbon counties along with Warren County on the western side of New Jersey. As of 2008, the Lehigh Valley has an estimated population of 808,210. The Lehigh Valley represents the third most populated region of Pennsylvania after Philadelphia and Pittsburgh.
